Yesterday, the HarperCollins union ratified a contract it reached with Harper's management last week. Staff will return to work on February 21st. The new contract sets a minimum salary of $47,500, which will then increase to $48,500 in 2024 and $50,000 in 2025. Certain employees will also receive a $1,500 payment. In addition, union employees can work remotely until July 1st, and Juneteenth and President's Day have been added to Harper's holiday list.
