Permanent Injunction Likely for Maryland E-book Law

Earlier this week, Maryland Attorney General Brian Frosh stated that he wouldn't present any new evidence in the e-book case challenged by the Association of American Publishers. This comes on the heals of a preliminary injunction handed down by the district court that held the US Copyright Act preempted Maryland's law. Attorney General Frosh's decision paves the way for the preliminary injunction to turn into a permanent injunction
